Dr. Catherine Jennings, DNP, RN, APN, FNP-BC, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Graduate Nursing. She has taught at Felician University for 20 years. She received her DNP from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA (2009) and her MSN/FNP from State University of New York (SUNY), Stony Brook in Stony Brook, NY (1999), receiving the Dean’s Award for Excellence. Dr. Jennings is also a two-time alumna of Felician University having received her BSN and AAS from the University. She received the Felician University Alumni of the Year Award and was inducted into the Felician University Nursing Hall of Honor in 2015. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is in active clinical practice, currently focusing on telemedicine. She holds eLearning and End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) certificates.
Dr. Jennings serves as the President of Felician University Faculty Senate and as a member of the University-wide, IT Governance and Pathify Committees. She is a member of Alpha Beta Chi and Kappa Gamma Chapters of Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing. She is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and its Grassroots Action Committee, American Nurses Association and NJ State Nurses Association.
