The MACP program is a great opportunity for students to further their education and be part of a community that strives to make positive changes and empower those around us, especially within the mental health field.

Sophia Marino, Master of Counseling Psychology

As an international student from South Africa, it was pivotal for me to find a place with ample opportunity. Felician not only meets but exceeds my expectations, offering an environment that is both challenging and enjoyable. The community at Felician made it easy for me to forge meaningful connections and make friends to last a lifetime.

Isabella Bertossi, Counseling Psychology Major

Master of Science in Nursing:

Your coursework is 100% online, but that doesn’t mean you’re alone. During your education, you’ll receive focused attention from our doctoral-prepared faculty. You’ll take part in a campus visit that includes practical skill-building in our nursing resource and simulation center while interacting face-to face with instructors and fellow students.

As part of the program, you’re required to complete 750 clinical hours. In order to complete these hours, you’ll be connected with our clinical placement team. Based on your goals and where you live, your Student Success Coach will collaborate with you to identify an appropriate site and preceptor for you within a reasonable driving distance from your home.

Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology:

Field placement is the required hands-on learning component of the program. You will complete 100 practicum hours and 600+ clinical hours to give you the hands-on experience necessary to become a licensed counselor. Practicum hours are guided and directed by Felician University faculty in collaboration with your on-site field supervisor at the agency where you are assigned. Support to find field placement sites that align with your career goals is integrated into the program cost. Your Student Success Coach helps identify quality placement sites within your local community, so you can focus on your coursework and building your skills.

During your MACP education, you’ll also be connected with program faculty who have field experience, providing you with the needed support and mentorship as you gain skills in various counseling settings.
