Dr. Carleen Graham, PhD, RN, FNYAM, is the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and a Professor of Nursing at Felician University, where she provides strategic leadership for graduate nursing education while advancing innovative teaching, research, and workforce development initiatives. With more than 35 years of clinical nursing experience spanning psychiatric-mental health, community health, emergency, medical-surgical, and forensic nursing, Dr. Graham is committed to preparing the next generation of practice-ready healthcare professionals.

An accomplished educator and nationally recognized scholar, Dr. Graham's research focuses on simulation, artificial intelligence, extended reality, mental health education, and technology-enhanced learning. Her work has been presented at national and international conferences and examines innovative approaches to improving clinical reasoning, communication, and workforce readiness in nursing education. She also leads and collaborates on federally funded initiatives designed to expand access to healthcare careers, strengthen the primary care workforce, and improve educational outcomes for students from underserved communities.

Dr. Graham is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and is actively engaged in healthcare workforce development, academic leadership, and interprofessional collaboration. She is passionate about creating educational environments that foster excellence, innovation, and compassionate, patient-centered care while preparing future healthcare leaders to meet the evolving needs of diverse communities.
